Moranco: GPS Mapping & Management Plan

Moranco Enterprises Pty Ltd is a 6th generation family corporation that owns and operates a historic 1500 acre tree farm in New South Wales, Australia.  We were contracted by Moranco Enterprises Pty Ltd. to develop a comprehensive natural resource management plan for the property.

The project included a complete GPS survey of the property that mapped roads, stream crossings, log landings, skid trails, property lines and corners, forest stands, and unique ecologic and cultural areas.  This ground data was then entered into a GIS database that help guide the planning process from the ground up.  The result is a plan document that inventories the properties rich natural resources, and outlines a clear implementation strategy that capitalizes on the emerging markets for carbon, biodiversity, and water.
